I made it safely to Romania and God blessed me because my fear of flying alone was gone!! Since I have been here I have seen God work in many ways. We have had a team here with us so whenever we go somewhere we have games, songs and they have skits for the children.
The first two mornings we went to deaf schools which was hard for me because I hardly remember any signs but I was able to communicate, thanks to God who helped me. In the afternoons we have been talking to girls about abstinence and how to stay pure or recommit themselves. One day we went to a rehab center for children with disabilities. This was the hardest day for me. I met a sweet girl named Georgiana who was about two years old. The sad thing is she is just waiting there to have a heart transplant because right now she is too young, so until she can get her surgery she will learn to develop these mental issues because that is all she is around all day. And today Friday we went to the orphanage number 6 for small children. This was hard for me because they were so small and have no parents. They were all dressed the same and look alike - you can't tell the guys from the girls. One child named Daniel who just came to the center is really shy and can't communicate very well with the others and gets beat up by them. He and his brother were probably abused at home. I just carried him (we took them to the park) and loved on him.
I am having a wonderful time so far, God is showing me that he is working here in Romania. The staff at CTL are amazing it is fun getting to know them and hear about their lives. Please pray for my health, though. Today I got really sick and could not participate in the afternoon activities. Thanks so much!!
Love In Christ, Breann
